After two years of writing and finding my voice, I'm ready to find an agent and launch my writing career.  Starry Kalahari not only won a local SCBWI award, it also received overwhelmingly positive feedback from some extremely successfully published picture book writers whom I trust.

Thus, the search begins.  My agent search actually began last year (you can read about it here) but I didn't feel the timing was right until now. A query and submission went out almost three weeks ago and I'm on pins and needles waiting to hear back.
